RAW BANNA CURRY

INGREDIENTS:Raw banna 2 cut into long quater pieces
                            Potato 2 cut into long quarter pieces
                            Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon
                            Tumeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
                             Tomato cut into quarter pieces(1)
                             Panchphoron 1/2 teaspoon
                             Gingerpaste 1 teaspoon
                             Cumin powder 1 teaspoon
                             Corriander powder 1 teaspoon
                              Salt as per taste
                              Mustard oil
                              Finely chopped corrinder leaves & slited green chilli
                             Dry roasted masala powder 1 table spoon(dry roast same amount cumin seed,corrinder seed, dry red chilli,half the amount fenugreek seed,cinnamon stick,half the amount mustard seed.Let it cool a bit then blend it into a powder)

METHOD:Cut the banana & potato & soak it into a bowl of water with little salt & pinch of turmeric powder.In a pan heat 3 table spoon oil ,when the oil is hot add panchphoron, when it splatters add the banana & potato pieces,saute for a while  then add all the masala powder except dry roasted masala.Add salt to taste when oil seperates add water & let it boil in low medium flame until veges are tender.Once veges are done allow it to simmer  covered for few minutes adding the dry roasted masala.Dish is ready garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves & slited green chilli .Serve it with steamed rice

PANEER MASALA CURRY

Ingredients:paneer cut into cubes
                   onion finely chopped(1medium size)
                   garlic 2-3 cloves finely chopped
                   chilli 2-3 finely chopped
                   green bell pepper 1 cut into medium pieces
                   tomato puree 1/2 cup
                   chilli powder 1teaspoon
                   cumin powder 1/2 teaspoon
                   garam masala powder 1table spoon
                   salt to taste
                   sugar 2 pinch
                   refined oil 3 tablespoon

Method:In a pan add oil &saute the paneer cudes till slightely brownish then keep the panner cubes aside.In the same pan add onion,garlic,chilli &saute till onion is translucent then add bell pepper, tomato puree,chilli powder,cumin powder,salt & saute till oil seperates.Add 1/2 cup water let it simmer for 1/2mins then add paneer & garam masala,sugar & simmer for few seconds.Garnish with finely chopped cilantro.Serve with steamed rice or roti,naan,paratha.

HEALTHY NOODLES

An healthy way to have noodles.Kids as well as elders like it .

INGREDIENTS:Noodles (1 packet)
                           Egg 2
                           1/4 cup green peas
                           Onion 1 medium size finely chopped
                           Garlic 2-3  cloves finely chopped
                           Chilli 2-3 finely chopped
                           Vineger 3 teaspoon
                            Salt as per taste
                             Sugar 2 pinch
                            Chilli flakes 1/2 teaspoon
                            Refined oil 4teaspoon

METHOD:Add the noodles & peas  in bolling water with salt & 1 teaspoon oil.When  ala dente strain the noodles & peas.In a pan heat oil add onion,chilli,garlic ,saute it until onion is translucent.Now add the eggs
 ,salt ,vinegar,chilli flakes,sugar saute till oil seperates then add noodles &peas.The dish is ready.Kids don't like to eat peas but in this way they will have the peas with the noodles which is healthy.If you want little tomato sauce while adding noodles.

MURGIR JHOL (Chicken Curry)


Today I will share a Bengali recipe murgir jhol(chicken curry)
INGREDIENTS:Chicken bone in cut into medium size(1Kg)
                           Tumeric powder 2 pinch
                            Ginger Garlic Paste 2 table spoon
                            Yogurt 4 table spoon
                            Salt to taste
                            Tomato puree 1/2 cup
                            Onion cut into fine slices (3-4 medium)
                            Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon
                             Potato 4 medium size cut into halves
                             Cinammon stick small piece
                            Mustard oil 5table spoon
                            Chilli powder according to desired hot
METHOD:Marinade the chicken for about 1/2 an hour with salt,yogurt,tumeric pwd.chilli pwd.,1spoon mustard oil.In a pan heat oil & saute the potatos & when it's brownish keep it aside.In the same oil add cinnamon when is fried, saute the onion till translucent then add ginger garlic paste & marinated chicken.Let tit cook in medium flame till oil seperates from side.Add water about 11/2 cup.When the curry is boiling add thr sauted potato & allow it to cook covered in medium -low flame.Once potato is done chicken is also done ,then add the garam masala pwd.&garnish with slited green chill.Serve with steamed rice.
